How the AEWV process works

For most regular AEWV recruitment, the employer first needs the correct accreditation. The employer may then need to advertise the role and complete a job check before inviting a suitably qualified migrant worker to apply for the visa. The worker must meet the job, skill, qualification, experience, health and character requirements that apply to their circumstances.

Visa conditions normally connect the worker to the approved employer, occupation and location. If those circumstances change, a Job Change, variation of conditions or a new visa may be required.
