Why you should use us as your immigration adviser

In New Zealand, only a Licensed Immigration Adviser (LIA) or an exempt person (such as a lawyer or a government official in certain circumstances) can provide immigration advice. This ensures that all immigration services meet the required professional and ethical standards set by the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA).

As Licensed Immigration Advisers, we are committed to upholding the highest professional and legal standards in accordance with the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007 and the IAA Code of Conduct. When you engage our services, you can expect transparency, integrity, and compliance with the law. Below are the key terms and conditions that govern our professional relationship.

1. Professional Conduct

  • We will act with honesty, professionalism, and due diligence, ensuring that your immigration matter is handled with care and efficiency.

  • We will provide objective, informed, and lawful immigration advice based on your specific situation.

  • If there is any conflict of interest, we will disclose it to you immediately. If the conflict affects our ability to represent you fairly, we will not proceed with your case.

2. Client Care and Responsibilities

  • We will provide immigration advice that is in your best interests while complying with New Zealand immigration laws.

  • We will respect and consider your cultural background and personal circumstances in my advisory services.

  • If you need language assistance, an interpreter or translator can be provided.

3. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • All personal information you provide will be kept confidential, unless you authorize disclosure or I am required by law to share it.

  • Your information will be stored securely and only used for the purpose of assisting with your immigration matter.

4. Written Agreements and Fees

  • Before I begin working on your case, we will sign a written agreement that includes:

    • A clear description of the services I will provide.

    • My fees, payment terms, and any additional costs (such as immigration application fees).

    • Information about my internal complaints procedure in case you have any concerns.

  • I will keep detailed records of all immigration advice provided.

  • Client records will be securely stored for at least seven years and can be accessed upon request.

6. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

  • If you have any concerns about my services, we have an internal complaints process to address them fairly and promptly.

  • If we are unable to resolve an issue internally, you can escalate your complaint to the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA).
